Question
To ask the Scottish Government how many businesses in the Stirling Council area are exempt from paying non-domestic rates in 2020-21 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Answer
Official statistics show that, at the snapshot date of 1 July 2020, there were 630 recipients of the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure (RHL) relief in Stirling Council, saving ratepayers over £20 million.
