Question
To ask the Scottish Government whether the recently-announced COVID-19-related death in service payment for the families of NHS staff will be funded by it directly and not from the NHS superannuation scheme.
Answer
The scheme will be administer by the Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA), but will be fully funded by the Scottish Government.
