Question

To ask the Scottish Government, in light of the COVID-19 outbreak, what flexibility will be given to local authorities regarding the submission of their annual accounts.


Answer

The Scottish Government has advised local authorities that it considers the provisions made in Schedule 6 of The Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 to be sufficient to allow each local authority to determine its own revised timetable for Annual Accounts.
