Question
To ask the Scottish Government, further to its news release of 29 October 2019, Safeguarding environmental standards, whether it will confirm who it has appointed to its advisory panel to ensure that environmental standards are maintained in the event of a no deal Brexit, and what the process was for making these appointments.
Answer
Officials are working with the prospective Chair of the panel to develop and finalise details, including the identification of suitable individuals, who could, if needed, be invited to take their place on the panel in the event of a no deal EU exit.
