To ask the Scottish Government what consideration it has given to assisting fathers gain access to their children in situations where courts have granted access but mothers refuse to comply.
Answer
We held a roundtable discussion in January 2017 with key stakeholders on enforcement of contact orders.
We intend to launch a consultation shortly on the review of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995. This consultation will seek views on a number of issues including how contact orders can be enforced.
