Question
To ask the Scottish Government how it plans to encourage trade unions, employees and employers to work together to support sustainable economic growth.
Answer
The Scottish Government will establish an independent review “Working Together: progressive workplace policies in Scotland” focusing on measures which would optimise the relationships that link trade unions, employers and government.
The review group will be chaired by former Enterprise Minister Jim Mather and include trade union, employer, academic and professional representatives. Full details of the membership and terms of reference will be published separately.
