  • Date lodged: Monday, 24 January 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-02885

That the Parliament welcomes the announcement that Curated in the Quad, which took place from 19 November to 19 December 2021, raised over £11,000 for the Aberdeen-based charity, Charlie House; understands that 59 vendors, from across the north east, paid to participate in the event, with proceeds going towards the charity, and that 90% of the vendors confirmed that it had a positive effect on their business; recognises that Charlie House, which was established in 2011, provides support services to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, ensuring that they and their families have access to inclusive and fulfilling activities; understands that the funding raised has already gone towards what it sees as the charity's vital work in making a difference to disabled children and families; commends the organisers of the event, the participating vendors, and all involved at Charlie House, and passes on its best wishes for continued success.
