That the Parliament congratulates Viewpark resident, Mary Wood, on receiving the coveted North Lanarkshire Council’s Provost Citizenship Award 2021; understands that award recipients are determined by local people nominating individuals or groups who have sought to improve the lives of others, and further understands that Mary was nominated for her 30 years of helping others in the community, including organising bingo for elderly Viewpark residents, establishing a local tenants association, giving refuge to domestic abuse victims and founding the Focus Youth Project, which aims to provide young people access to outdoor education skills.
