Congratulating Calum Stevenson, Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2021

That the Parliament congratulates young Scottish artist, Calum Stevenson, on winning the prestigious Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2021; understands that Calum, 23, from Bonnybridge, is the youngest and first Scottish winner of the nationally-televised competition, which was judged by a panel of expert judges; notes that the final episode was followed by a one-hour winner’s programme featuring Calum who met and painted the violinist, Nicola Benedetti, for an exclusive portrait, which, it is understood, will be displayed in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery; commends this outstanding achievement, and wishes Calum all the best for the future.
