North East Sensory Services (NESS) Funding

That the Parliament congratulates North East Sensory Services (NESS) on receiving a £100,000 funding donation from Barclays 100x100 COVID-19 Community Relief Programme; notes that Barclays 100x100 COVID-19 Community Relief Programme has made 100 donations of £100,000, and plans to make a further 50 donations; further notes that North East Sensory Services (NESS) is a charity based in the north east, which provides support services for people with hearing and visual impairments; understands that this funding will enable NESS to continue to provide support to deaf and blind people in using accessible electronic devices to stay better connected with their friends and family, especially during periods of lockdown, and gives thanks to the charity for all of its hard work to improve the lives of those most vulnerable to isolation.
