Two Ayrshire Nurses Earn Prestigious Royal Accolade

That the Parliament congratulates NHS Ayrshire and Arran nurses Carol Cartwright and Zoe Lightbody on receiving a prestigious nursing accolade; notes that Carol and Zoe were among the twenty-nine health professionals across Scotland to receive the Queen’s Nurse award, in recognition of their dedicated work; understands that they received the awards at a ceremony at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh; acknowledges that nurses have worked extremely hard over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, and continue to do so, and wishes Carol, Zoe, and all of their colleagues at NHS Ayrshire and Arran well as they continue to provide quality care in the community
