  • Motion reference: S6M-02230

That the Parliament congratulates SWG3 on receiving £480,000 from the UK Government’s Community Renewal Fund; notes that the Clydeside Initiative for Arts, known widely as SWG3, will use the money for its GRID (Glasgow Riverside Innovation District) project to create a cultural, net-zero area by rebuilding on derelict land and establishing street art programmes; understands that SWG3 is a warehouse complex in Glasgow's Finnieston district, and is a range of distinctive venues and creative spaces that form one of the city's most unique spaces for work and play, and acknowledges that SWG3 boasts an ambitious year-round arts programme, along with other visual art and community events from festivals and art fairs, to exhibitions and educational workshops.
