First Anniversary of the Cervical Cancer Elimination Movement

That Parliament notes that 17 November 2021 is the first anniversary of the Cervical Cancer Elimination Movement; recognises that this marks the date last year when the World Health Organization launched the global strategy to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer as a public health problem; emphasises the importance of cervical screening and HPV vaccinations in preventing the condition; acknowledges that attending screenings is important, but not always easy, and highlights that Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust provides information and support on all aspects of cervical health and HPV.
