Fruitful North Lanarkshire National Lottery Heritage Funding

That the Parliament welcomes the award of a grant of £93,800 by the National Lottery Heritage Fund to the Fruitful North Lanarkshire: Heritage Skills Training in Orchard Management project, which is run by The Orchard Project (Cause) Ltd in central Scotland; notes that the National Lottery Heritage Fund invests funds raised by the National Lottery in heritage sites and projects across Scotland, and is open to grant applications for any type of heritage project from £3,000 to £5 million; recognises that the National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded over £880 million to more than 4,700 projects in Scotland since 1994; encourages cultural heritage projects across the country to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, and congratulates Fruitful North Lanarkshire on this significant milestone.
