Eoropie Dunes Park in Isle of Lewis Presented with Green Flag Community Award

That the Parliament congratulates Guth Airson Iarrtasan Nis (GAIN) on being presented with a Green Flag Community Award by Keep Scotland Beautiful for Eoropie Dunes Park in the Isle of Lewis; understands that the park is a community-led project and aims to help young people by providing an opportunity to increase physical activity and develop new skills and social contacts in order to improve physical and mental wellbeing; recognises the various projects that GAIN runs in the park, including Green Gym Days, which give volunteers the opportunity to experience environmental and conservation work while also helping to improve the park; acknowledges the importance of outdoor spaces for community wellbeing, and wishes all staff and volunteers at GAIN well in their future endeavours.
