That the Parliament congratulates Woodlands Community Garden on being named the Best Community Garden in the UK; understands that this accolade was presented by Cultivation Street 2021 and viewed the Community Garden, which is based in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency, ahead of some other fantastic gardens, in a year with more applicants than ever before; recognises that this award of excellence reflects the inspiring community gardening projects that are making their area a greener place to live, with the Woodlands Garden, which was recognised as being "a green oasis" in a once derelict site, awarded prize money of £1,000; understands that this much-loved community resource is now a hub for volunteering, education, play and socialising; acknowledges the role this venue plays in the food sustainability chain, with approximately 50 households growing their own fruit, vegetables and herbs on an annual basis; understands that, with many residents not having access to their own gardens, it is an important part of the community as an accessible green space, and wishes everyone involved with this fantastic community resource every continued success.
