That the Parliament congratulates Recovery Enterprises, a Kilmarnock-based addiction support organisation, for winning the Employability Self Management Award at the 2021 Annual ALLIANCE Awards; notes that this Award celebrates and recognises individuals and organisations showing best practice in self-management and innovative approaches; understands that Recovery Enterprises, which works with communities to tackle issues including poverty, isolation and equitable access to support, was recognised for its efforts during the COVID-19 crisis when it was forced to close its Recovery Café; appreciates that, in response, it developed a new programme, which has since seen the delivery of over 3,500 food parcels to over 150 new households that had previously not been involved with the organisation, as well as helping to arrange access to wider support; notes that Recovery Enterprises opened the new Foundations Hub, in April, as part of continuing efforts to provide volunteering opportunities, skills training and peer support for those dealing with issues, such as addiction and poor mental health; commends Recovery Enterprises for its ongoing efforts to improve quality of life and provide new opportunities for those who need support, and wishes it continued success.
