Gamtalk Supports Over 650 With Gambling Addiction

That the Parliament acknowledges that Gamtalk, which aims to help people with gambling addition, has supported over 650 people from across the globe since it was launched in September 2020; commends 25-year-old Paul Pettigrew, who is from Port Glasgow, for establishing Gamtalk to help others after he landed himself in £28,000 worth of debt as a result of his gambling addiction; notes that Paul has since been invited into schools, top football clubs and prisons across Scotland to share his experiences and educate others, and has offered online support to gamblers worldwide; recognises that Paul is planning a charity fundraiser to mark one year of the organisation and to help continue his work; wishes Paul all the best with his fundraising efforts, and thanks him for all he is doing to support people in Scotland and beyond who are living with gambling addiction.
