That the Parliament recognises Back British Farming Day, which took place on 15 September 2021; notes reported figures that indicate that UK farmers and growers produced 64% of all the food eaten by people in Britain; recognises what it considers the importance of the UK internal market to Scotland and what it sees as the wide-ranging benefits for the UK food and drink sector; praises the hard work of farmers across the country, and recognises that they form a vital part of the local and national economy in places such as the Scottish Borders, as well as the rest of Scotland.
