Wout van Aert Wins 2021 Tour of Britain

That the Parliament congratulates Wout van Aert on winning the Leader’s Jersey in the 2021 Tour of Britain; further congratulates Ethan Hayter on winning the Point's Jersey, Jacob Scott on winning the King of the Mountain's Jersey and the Sprint's Jersey and the Deceuninck-Quick-Step teammates, Mark Cavendish, Julian Alaphilippe, Davide Ballerini, Tim Declercq, Mikkel Honoré and Yves Lampaert, on topping the team classification; recognises that the final stage came to a thrilling finish on Aberdeen’s beach esplanade; further recognises that the event enabled a large number of spectators to see the best cyclists in the world; hopes that this will inspire and encourage active sporting participation in the north east and beyond; notes that Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire will host the Grand Départ, the first stage, of the 2022 Tour, and wishes the event all the best for when it returns to the north east next year.
