Auriel Lewis Raises £3,000 for Strathcarron Hospice by Running the West Highland Way

That the Parliament congratulates Auriel Lewis, who is from Maddiston in the Falkirk East constituency, on raising £3,000 for Strathcarron Hospice by running the West Highland Way in less than 30 hours; notes that Auriel, who is an ultra-marathon runner, sustained an injury during her training for the expedition but still managed to run the 96-mile trek in 29 hours and 16 minutes; considers the work of Strathcarron Hospice as vital in providing palliative care and in helping to support families and people through some of the hardest times they may face; commends Auriel on her incredible feat, and wishes her a good rest and recovery from her expedition.
