That the Parliament recognises the remarkable efforts of Aberdeen Donside resident and Danestone Community Council Chairperson, Derek Davidson, for his recent fundraising efforts, which involved walking the 79-mile Great Glen Way, from Fort William to Inverness, to raise funds for flower planters for the Danestone area of Aberdeen; notes that the planters will help enhance the environment for people living in the Danestone area; understands that each planter will be constructed by individuals from the Bridge of Don and District Men's Shed group, which shows the community spirit and effort involved in making these improvements; understands that, once finished, each planter will have a plaque with the names of businesses and individuals who have made substantial contributions to fundraising efforts.
