Funding in Aberdeenshire West from the National Lottery Community Fund

That the Parliament congratulates the groups in Aberdeenshire West that have recently been successful in securing funding from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that The National Lottery provides funding through the National Lottery Community Fund to help support voluntary, community or public sector organisations with projects that benefit their local communities; acknowledges that Braemar Community Ltd has been awarded £10,000 to employ a Project Development Officer to oversee the final design and construction of 15 houses and flats, Donside Community Council has received £9,500 to help run an online Community Hub website and app, which will connect people and services in Alford and the surrounding area, Gordon Woodworkers has received £5,000 to upgrade its woodturning workshop, which is based in Leslie, and Kemnay Community Council, which has received £1,700 to re-fit its premises and to help fund the purchase of equipment needed to run a community food larder; commends the National Lottery for its ongoing support for local communities, and wishes these organisations every success with their projects.
