That the Parliament welcomes the British Art Show to Aberdeen Art Gallery; notes that the event is an ambitious exhibition of contemporary art curated by Irene Aristizábal and Hammad Nasar; recognises that the exhibition will be touring the country and will be free to attend in Aberdeen Art Gallery until 10 October 2021; believes that it is positive for Aberdeen, Scotland’s third largest city, to now have a venue that is able to host such events; thanks those who contributed to the reopening of the gallery, which has recently been named as one of Scotland's buildings of the year by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, and looks forward to future opportunities for the people of Aberdeen to experience and engage with art.
