That the Parliament commends the work of Rediscover Peterhead in setting up and running Peterhead Producers Market; understands that this provides a means through which local food producers can sell some of the best food and drink that Banffshire and Buchan Coast has to offer, directly to the community at a low cost; recognises the benefits of fresh, local food producers, and the social, economic and environmental benefits of shopping and eating local, and offers its appreciation to all who have taken part.
