75th Independence Day of Pakistan

That the Parliament marks the 75th Independence Day of the Republic of Pakistan on 14 August 2021; recognises what it sees as the considerable achievements of the republic since its independence; notes the well-established relationship between Scotland and Pakistan; wishes all involved well with the celebrations; commends the ongoing work to maintain meaningful links between the two countries; understands that over 80,000 people of Pakistani origin live in Scotland, and thanks them for making Scotland their home.
