New John O’Groats to Land’s End Cycling Record

That the Parliament congratulates Christina Mackenzie, who is from the Isle of Lewis, on setting a new women’s record for cycling the Land’s End to John O’Groats route; understands that Christina completed the 839-mile journey in 51 hours, five minutes and 27 seconds; recognises the significant achievement of beating the previous record, which has been held since 2002; commends Christina for the money she has raised through her record attempt for Alzheimer Scotland, in memory of her mother Elizabeth, and wishes her continued success.
