SRUC Named Best in Scotland in Young University Rankings

That the Parliament congratulates the achievement of Scotland’s Rural College in being named the best university in Scotland, and ranked sixth in the UK and 104th in the world, in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings; recognises the wide range of courses on offer, including agriculture and rural business management, and the crucial role that it plays in the Borders' rural economy; notes the vital role that these courses will help play in Scotland’s economic recovery, and recognises the scale of this achievement of being ranked the highest position in Scotland in just under 10 years of being established.
