That the Parliament congratulates S3 pupils at St Peter’s the Apostle High School in Clydebank on winning the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) Programme; understands that the YPI is an active citizenship programme that aims to empower young people to make a difference in their communities while developing a range of skills, with schools being responsible for directing financial grants to local charities championed by their students; notes that the team at St Peter’s the Apostle donated its £3,000 prize fund to the brilliant Beatson Cancer Charity, which provides a comprehensive range of wellbeing and specialist services to cancer patients and their families, and applauds the school for its continuous support of the local community.
