Aberdeenshire Council Achieves Silver LGBT Charter

That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeenshire Council's Housing Options and Homelessness Team on receiving the Silver LGBT Charter; notes that the award received from LGBT Youth Scotland is in recognition of a thorough review and update of policies and practice, as well as undergoing training on LGBT inclusion; understands that, in particular, the organisation showed great examples of equality impact assessments and action planning, and is pleased that staff and service users will benefit from this approach to inclusion in the years to come.
