The Gate Opens New Shop in Alloa

That the Parliament welcomes the news that The Gate charity, based at Ludgate, Alloa, opened its new retail shop on 8 June 2021; understands that The Gate’s shop, which is located at 12 Shillinghill, Alloa and will be open every Tuesday and Thursday, with a view to moving towards full-time opening in the near future, is selling new and quality second-hand goods, including bric-a-brac, handbags, clothing, footwear, toys, small household items, books and jewellery, to raise much-needed funds for the charity; commends The Gate on its highly magnanimous work for the local community, and wishes Centre Manager, Marie Brownhill, all of the volunteers, and everyone involved all the very best for their continuing and ongoing success.
