Coldingham Beach Receives Prestigous Award for 15th Year Running

That the Parliament recognises Scottish Borders Council for its management of Coldingham beach, which has become a winner in the prestigious Scotland’s Beach Awards for the 15th year; notes this national landmark for its local environmental quality, celebrating clean, well-managed and sustainable beaches; recognises the beach as a huge asset for the Borders, particularly as a safe, clean and attractive tourism destination; thanks the local authority and the community for their upkeep of the beach, and encourages people to celebrate Scotland's beautiful beaches as the summer holiday season begins.
