Young People Complete 24-hour Coast to Coast Challenge

That the Parliament congratulates the achievement of eight young people, Barbara and Steven Shiel, Jamie and Rory Murray, Alan Dodds, Wayne Mitchell, Scott Wight and Matthew Wilkie who have successfully completed a 24-hour, 175-mile cycling, running, kayaking and walking challenge from Portpatrick on the west coast to Cockburnspath and Cove in the Scottish Borders on the east; recognises the scale of their achievement in raising in excess of £30,000 for the My Name5 Doddie Foundation, which was launched by the Borderer, Doddie Weir, to support research into MND, and thanks all those who supported the team and this fantastic cause.
