Ayrshire Athlete Storms to European Gold Success

That the Parliament congratulates Kayleigh Haggo on breaking the world record for the Women’s RR3 100m at the Word Para Athletics European Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland; gathers that Kayleigh won the European gold medal, adding to the world gold medal she has already won; notes that she crossed the finish line in just 18.11 seconds, a lifetime best for the distance; understands that Kayleigh is a four times RR2 world record holder; appreciates that the 22-year old is from Maybole and was named the Ayrshire Sportsability Young Athlete of the Year for 2012, 2015 and 2016, and wishes Kayleigh all the best in her sporting endeavours.
