East Lothian Inspiring Volunteer Awards 2021 Announce Winners

That the Parliament congratulates all of the winners of the Inspiring Volunteer Awards 2021; recognises that the awards are about celebrating the incredible efforts of volunteers in East Lothian; notes the categories and winners are as follows; Community Volunteer of the Year, Graham Samuel, Health and Wellbeing Volunteer of the Year, Colin McIivenny, Lifelong Commitment Volunteer of the Year, Robert Mitchell, Outstanding Trustee of the Year, Alison Reynolds, Volunteer Team of the Year, Our Community Kitchen Team and Young Volunteer of the Year, Imogen Woods; understands that the nominations are made by local third or public sector workers; acknowledges how essential volunteers are to society, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when an awe-inspiring number of people across East Lothian stepped up and volunteered their help, and thanks all the winners and nominees for their tremendous contribution to their community.
