That the Parliament congratulates Gary Smith on his election as General Secretary of the GMB; understands that he is the first Scot to be elected to lead the union in its over 100-year history; praises his work as GMB Scotland Secretary, and wishes Gary every success as he takes up his new role leading over 600,000 workers across the UK.
