That the Parliament congratulates Garioch Community Kitchen in Inverurie on being awarded The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service; understands the kitchen provides practical cookery classes for adults and children, information about the benefits of healthy eating and runs a pop-up café to tackle loneliness; recognises that it adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic to produce and deliver 1,300 food parcels to families in the community most in need; acknowledges the vital part such charities and volunteers have played in supporting communities throughout the pandemic; commends the hard work of all charity staff and volunteers, and wishes Garioch Community Kitchen well.
