Inverclyde Council Tops Local Government Benchmarking Framework

That the Parliament congratulates Inverclyde Council on coming out on top of the Local Government Benchmarking Framework (LGBF) 2019-20, with 68% of performance indicators being in the top two quartiles; understands that the LGBF benchmarks the performance of councils against 91 key indicators, across nine service areas; recognises the hard work of all of the staff at Inverclyde Council who have contributed to this, and notes that the performance of Inverclyde Council has improved each year since 2017-18.
