Tennis for Everyone, Everywhere - Disability Sessions First for Sense Scotland and the Judy Murray Foundation

That the Parliament congratulates fundraisers, the Murraynators, including Sense Scotland’s health and safety manager, Gillian Batchelor, for raising money for disability tennis sessions; acknowledges that this is their first venture into disability tennis for Sense Scotland and the Judy Murray Foundation; understands that they wanted to make tennis doable and fun for everyone; notes that ambassadors from the foundation recently delivered workshops for 12 Sense Scotland staff members; understands that they will go on to facilitate sporting activities for disabled children and adults across the country, including at the charity’s TouchBase Glasgow hub; acknowledges that the Judy Murray Foundation works in rural and disadvantaged communities across Scotland, encouraging people to enjoy tennis and that it recently supported work in Maryhill, where courts have been restored, and recognises that Sense Scotland supports thousands of disabled people across the country.
