That the Parliament congratulates St Johnstone FC on winning the Scottish Cup on 22 May 2021, when it beat Hibernian FC 1-0; notes that the club achieved the remarkable feat of a cup double in doing so, having already won the Betfred (League) Cup earlier in the season, and applauds The Courier newspaper’s wish for the club to be granted the Freedom of Perth as St Johnstone has put the city firmly on the footballing map.
