That the Parliament congratulates farmer David Yates, of Meikle Firthhead Farm, Castle Douglas, on being awarded the prestigious John Dennison Lifetime Achievement Award for his remarkable and outstanding contribution to the industry at the age of 90; acknowledges his international reputation for producing the renowned Holstein herds that have provided an inspiration to future generations to progress and take the business forward, including his sons Brian and David; recognises his strong links with Canada, where he is also held in high regard by breeders there, and wishes David well in his future ventures.
