That the Parliament notes with concern reports of the recent arrest of Disha Ravi in India; understands that Ms Ravi is a prominent climate activist who has done invaluable work in raising awareness and tackling the effects of climate change on the most vulnerable across the globe; believes that Ms Ravi’s reported arrest under sedition charges is an attack on democracy, and an attempt to silence protest and activism in India, and calls for her immediate release.
