That the Parliament congratulates the maternity service at NHS Borders on achieving the top award in UNICEF's Baby Friendly Initiative; recognises the hard work of everyone at NHS Borders who helps to provide expert infant feeding support to ensure that all babies get the best possible start; appreciates the work done by UNICEF to transform healthcare for babies, particularly by encouraging the building of a relationship between babies and parents straight after birth, and notes that the initiative was introduced in the UK in 1994 and that 91% of maternity units in the UK are working towards their accreditation.
