Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust Launches ‘DONline’ to Support Home Schooling

That the Parliament commends Aberdeen Football Club’s charity partner, AFC Community Trust (AFCCT) on launching a series of football-themed ‘DONline’ learning resources; understands these free online activities have been created by coaches at AFCCT’s partner schools to support children and young people, parents, carers, teachers and supporters during lockdown; notes that tasks are designed for both primary and secondary aged pupils and are backed by both Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Council’s education departments; highlights that children can work on various challenges including creative learning, numeracy, literacy and problem solving, as well as some fun tasks aimed at keeping children active and healthy both physically and mentally, with the help of club mascots Angus the Bull and Donny the Sheep, and applauds AFCCT's continued support of local youngsters during this challenging time.
