That the Parliament celebrates the efforts and dedication of volunteers across Scottish sport; recognises the contribution of these volunteers and community clubs in enabling the participation of the 900,000 members of 13,000 different sports clubs, and the positive impacts of sport, physical activity and volunteering on health, mental health, wellbeing and social connection; congratulates the remarkable individuals recognised from across Scottish sport in the recent New Year and Birthday Honours lists, and encourages others to make nominations for future Honours to help to celebrate the innovation, impact and contribution of individuals from sport to communities across Scotland.
