Aberdeen Granite Noir Crime Writing Festival

That the Parliament welcomes the success of Granite Noir, a north east crime writing festival, since its inception in 2017; understands that the four-day event attracts internationally renowned authors and thousands of crime fiction enthusiasts to Aberdeen; further understands that the festival received a £25,000 grant from EventScotland as part of VisitScotland’s national events funding programme; notes that the festival includes author conversations, family events, walks, concerts, theatre events and exhibitions, and looks forward to next year’s event.
