That the Parliament congratulates warmly the University of Glasgow on awarding over £55,000 in funding to grassroots and voluntary projects across the Glasgow Riverside Innovation District; notes the inspiring range of 24 initiatives, which, it believes, are delivering real change in communities often hardest hit by inequality; recognises the dedication, creativity and vision of local groups working to improve wellbeing, provide opportunities and tackle social challenges; acknowledges the enthusiasm and resilience of volunteers and staff who make these projects possible, and believes that supporting community-led action strengthens Glasgow’s neighbourhoods, fosters social cohesion, and creates lasting positive impact for residents of all ages.
