That the Parliament congratulates Helen Harvey and Alison Adair of Glasgow Taxis on reaching the extraordinary milestones of 50 and 40 years of service respectively; notes with admiration the celebrations that were held in their honour at Partick Thistle’s Wyre at Firhill Stadium, and that these were attended by colleagues, family and friends; recognises the overwhelming respect and affection shown to them by the Glasgow Taxis community; acknowledges the dedication, professionalism and commitment that they have demonstrated over decades of service, contributing not only to the success of Glasgow Taxis, but also to the wider city and its residents; understands the importance of such long-standing service in fostering a people-driven workplace, strengthening team spirit and setting an inspiring example for colleagues past, present and future, and notes the enthusiasm and energy with which Helen and Alison continue their work, exemplifying what it sees as loyalty, perseverance and the enduring value of commitment in today’s workforce.
