Skylark IX Recovery Trust in Dumbarton Receives The King’s Award for Voluntary Service

That the Parliament congratulates the Skylark IX Recovery Trust, in Dumbarton, on receiving The King’s Award for Voluntary Service, which is the highest UK honour for volunteer-led organisations; recognises the trust’s outstanding work in preserving the historic "Dunkirk Little Ship” Skylark IX while delivering community-led recovery programmes supporting individuals affected by addiction, trauma and social isolation; commends the dedication and passion of its volunteers in restoring heritage and fostering resilience; acknowledges the significance of this achievement in showcasing West Dunbartonshire’s contribution to heritage preservation and community wellbeing, and wishes the Trust continued success.
