Asda Kilmarnock Empowers Crosshouse Community Football Club

That the Parliament congratulates Crosshouse Community Football Club on receiving a £1,000 grant from the Asda Foundation’s Empowering Local Communities programme; understands that Asda Kilmarnock is committed to making the communities around its stores better places to live and work for their colleagues and customers, and that projects supported by the Asda Foundation are nominated by the community; further understands that Crosshouse Community FC are a Scottish Junior FA-affiliated grassroots football club, which promotes opportunities for junior grassroots football in the west of Scotland and competes in the West of Scotland Youth Football League with a range of youth teams; notes that the U18 Better Starts Grant is focused on supporting local groups to deliver initiatives that improve the lives of children and young people; acknowledges the benefits that children and young people experience when participating in sport and community activities; welcomes the support from Asda Kilmarnock, and wishes Crosshouse Community Football Club well in all its future endeavours.
